Here is Catholic Morning Prayer in English. This prayer is recommended to be said by Catholic faithful in the morning after rising from the bed.
Come Holy Ghost
1. Come Holy ghost,
Send down those beams
Which sweetly flow in silent streams,
From thy bright throne above.
2. O come, thou father of the poor,
O come, thou the source of all our store,
O come fill our heart with love.
3. O thou of comforters the best.
O thou the soul’s delightful guest,
The pilgrim’s sweet relief.
4. Rest art thou in our toil,
Most sweet;
Refreshment in the noonday heat;
And solace in our grief.
5. O blessed light of life
Thou art; fill with thy light
The inmost heart of those
That rest in thee.
6. Without thy Godhead,
Nothing can Have any price or worth in man
Nothing can harmless be.
7. Lord, wash our sinful stains away.
Bedew our dryness;
Our wounds and bruises heal.
8. Bend that which is stubborn in us,
Warm with thy love our hearts of snow.
Rule our wandering steps
9. Grant to thy faithful, Dearest lord
Whose only hope is in thy word
Thy sevenfold gift of grace
10. Grant us un life thy grace;
That we in peace may die and ever be
In love before thy face.
