ENTRANCE:
I com to thee once more my God, no Longer will I roam. For I have sought Thee wide world through and never find a home.
OR
Yes I shall arise, and return to my father.
STATIONS
1. When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss
and Poor contempt on all my pride.
2. Glory be to Jesus who in bitter pains,
Poured for me the life blood from his Sacred veins.
3. Blessed lamb on Calvary’s mountain stain to take our sins away. Let the drop of that rich fountain, our tremendous Ransom pay. Sacred Saviour; sacred saviour lowly at the feet we pray.
4. O Mary teach me to pronounce that Name of Names most dear; and lowly bend adoring head when Jesus name I hear.
5. You saw me covered with spittle and blood; You know my features though grimy with Sweat, now enter into the home of my father.
6. Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.
7. God give His people strength. If we believe in his way, he’s swift to repay, all those who bear the burden of the day. God give his people strength.
8. Lord Jesus think on me, and purge away my sins; from earth born passions set me free, and make me pure within. Lord Jesus think on me, with care and woe oppressed; let me thy loving servant be, and taste thy promised rest.
9. It’s not an easy road, we’re traveling to heaven, for many are the thorns on the way. It’s not an easy road, but the Saviour is with us, His presence gives us joy every day.
10. Jesus my Saviour on Calvary’s tree, paid the great debt and my soul He set free. Oh! It was wonderful how could it be, dying for me for me.
Dying for me….
11. Man of sorrow, wrapt in grief, bow thine ear to our relief. Thou for us the path has trod, of the dreadful wrath of God. Thou the cup of fire hast drained. Till its light alone remained. Lamb of love we look to thee. Hear our mournful litany.
12. Keep in mind that Jesus Christ has died for us, and is risen from the dead. He is our saving Lord. He is joy for all ages.
13. God of mercy and compassion; look with pity upon me. Father let me call thee father, ‘Tis thy child returns to thee. Jesus Lord
14. Soul of my Saviour, sanctify my breast; Body of Christ be thou my saving Gust. Blood of my Saviour bath me in thy tide; wash me with water flowing from thy side.
15. I believe God lay sleeping in the tomb. Waiting until the day should break. I believe my father has care of me and someday he’ll say; “My child awake”.
RECESSIONAL:
16. And can it be that I should gain. An interest in the Saviour’s blood. Died He for me who caused His pain, for me who him to death pursued: Amazing love how can it be that thou my Lord should die for me.
